While going through the toughest time of her life, Melissa looks for the better things in life to justify her situation. Everything becomes very rough quickly, not to talk of the absurd action of trying to frame a car accident as she attempts to disrupt her sister wedding with her best friend and crush.

Life becomes unbearable when her first draft gets rejected by the book publishers. When she decides to make some extra cash by hosting guests in her house, she stumbles upon an admirer who tries to help her find some enthusiasm through the absurd living arrangement.
